I’ve started a new blog, this time with the goal of using it as a knowledge management tool (i.e. mostly for myself). While CorpBlawg was topic-oriented and written with a clear audience in mind, this will be more of a digital scrapbook for work in progress, a bit like Lilia uses her blog. But who knows – maybe it will still attract a readership. :-)

This is a great idea. I like the way that delicious feeds can broadcast what things you are reading, thinking about etc. but always felt that it doesn’t do a very good job of capturing scholarly information (let alone give you a good way of managing scholarly information and reusing it). Some day (soon, one hopes) Zotero will have RSS feeds and maybe even let you use your profile page to display the feed for what you’ve recent added.

Yes, I completely agree. The next steps for Zotero from my point of view are feeds and a web interface that allows better manipulation of one’s library (searching, sorting, editing…) but that will take time.
No sure if they realize it but the default sorting of new Zotero items by when they were added is actually a feature. I was always a little frustrated with the FF add-on in that regard because you couldn’t see the most recent additions to your library.
